TOTTERIDGE SINGLES LADDER 2004
I am running a singles competition for Totteridge members. All competitors must have an LTA rating. I have listed below all juniors and seniors who I know have ratings, adults and juniors. All matches should be best of 3 sets. 1st 2 sets, tie-break at 6-6. If one set all then match can be decided by 3rd set or by 10 point “pro” tie-break (a tie-break up to 10 points, must win by 2 points). Either format will allow me to send results to LTA to count towards rating, but format must be agreed before match starts. Challenger should supply balls. All match results can be emailed to me at tarrantennis@btinternet.com and will be posted on this webpage. The junior who plays the most matches by September 1st 2004 will receive £25. 2nd most matches will receive £15. 3rd most will receive £10. To qualify for a money prize the total of matches played must exceed 6.
It is not compulsory to play, or to accept a challenge. The list is simply there if you wish to compete.
Most of the names are juniors. I would love it if more adults would join. You can apply for an LTA rating at http://advantage.lta.org.uk/adv_01join.htm#top or phone 020 7381 7037. A simple adult player membership is just £6 a year (juniors £3). Contact me for any advice, or if you would like to join the LIST. If your name is below and you don’t want to take part then contact me and I’ll remove your name. If your rating is wrong, let me know. If I have not included you, and you want to play let me know.
